Scientific Director – Medical Communications Agency - (remote, US)

Exciting independent med comms agency seeks a hands-on Scientific / Medical Director with strong medical communications agency experience to take a lead role working across a diverse range of therapeutic areas and accounts.

You will be a strategic leader to the business, a strategic partner to clients, and a strong mentor to junior medical staff. In this role you will manage the development of medically and scientifically accurate, informative, and persuasive content across a range of promotional medical education deliverables. You will also serve as a manager and mentor to medical writers, and as a strategic liaison with Clients.

Ideally you will have some experience working within the realm of oncology, and/or neurology, and will have expertise in medical affairs, commercial, publications or marketing projects - helping to execute, and direct all facets of a comprehensive strategic healthcare communications plan.

You will have a Doctoral Level educational background in the life sciences, and ideally have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Healthcare Communications, back up by excellent medical writing and editorial skills. You will help deliver projects to their completion as a lead member of a medical and scientific strategy development and content delivery team.
