Amprius develops, designs, and manufactures very high-performance lithium-ion cells for advanced applications. Amprius invented and perfected a 100% silicon anode which enables the highest energy density cell commercially available in the industry.

Summary

The Master Scheduler & Materials Manager has ownership over the production schedule and inventory processes. This role takes multiple inputs to develop a production capacity plan and ensures materials are available to execute the plan. This position is critical in ensuring production is run efficiently and customer deliveries happen on-time.

Job Responsibilities: Master Scheduler duties 75% & Materials Management 25%

• Owns the inventory transaction and counting processes
• Identifies potential shortages and takes appropriate action to mitigate shortfalls
• Tracks production shortfalls and advises on details of missed production targets
• Builds the production schedule based on yield, equipment efficiency, labor resources, and material availability
• Directs staff in inventory and receiving processes
• Places purchase orders with suppliers
• Communicates with various teams and stakeholders to set the weekly production schedule
• Uses MRP systems or other scheduling software to identify purchasing needs and align supply with demand
• Advises on production capacity for lead time and quantity with the Sales team
• Establishes the schedule for outgoing customer shipments

• Has solid knowledge of ERP, MRP, and scheduling systems
• Identifies issues and leads the team in problem solving

Required Education And Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in master scheduling and inventory management
• Bachelor’s degree required

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
• On-site in Fremont, CA
