WUCF TV & FM
WUCF FM & TV are an NPR-affiliated public radio station and a PBS-affiliated public television station, licensed to and located at the University of Central Florida. The Opportunity:
The Marketing Coordinator II assists the Education department with the organization and implementation of a wide range of education initiatives, including maintenance and distribution of educational materials, scheduling and confirming instructional programs, tracking data, collecting testimonials, and providing analytics to measure program effectiveness. Helps maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and facilitates communications about education programs and services through phone, email, website, social media channels, marketing materials, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Willingness and ability to work occasional varied hours as needed for events (evenings and weekends) required (factored into a 40-hour work week).
  • Coordinates details and materials with both WUCF departments and external partners to schedule and set up in-person or virtual workshops and teacher professional development sessions.
  • Builds awareness of project activities amongst the target audience and stakeholders through phone and email communications, education and family e-newsletters, social media posts, website, and marketing materials.
  • Assists the Education Manager in building strong relationships and stewarding key partners within targeted communities to give WUCF increased visibility and help us support educators, parents, and caregivers with local and national resources.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, including packing of education materials and participation in station outreach and fundraising events.
  • Contributes to the development and dissemination of education materials for families, children, caregivers, and educators, including PBS Learning Media.
  • Assists the Education team with planning, coordinating, and executing education programs, partner events, and virtual and/or in-person station events.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with video/TV production preferred.
  • Strong organization and strong written and verbal communication skills for frequent interaction with educators, students, partners, and the public.
  • Proficiency in and/or adaptability for learning a wide array of productivity and creative applications including Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, and Adobe Suite as well as knowledge of online content management systems (CMS)
  • Demonstrated experience, interest, and enthusiasm in education, public media, new media, and/or instructional technology
