Marketing & Communications Manager Jobs

The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve organizational marketing and communications goals. This role is both a creative individual contributor and a leader who helps shape and implement the marketing and communications strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

● Designing and/or sourcing of creative company content of all media types.

● Maintaining and optimizing the company website, social media platforms and email marketing solution/marketing mailing lists.

● Driving a broad range of marketing campaigns and activities for the organization’s services and community, utilizing SEO to increase SERP rankings.

● Crafting well-structured internal and external communications and editing such work developed by others.

● Contributing articles to publications, on a variety of topics related to our industry, current events, and business developments.

● Creating, editing and revising customer-facing and other business materials including blogs, white papers, case studies, articles, PR messages, product and service guides, direct mail campaign materials, and business-to-business presentation materials.

● Creating press releases to coincide with significant company milestones and special events.

● Promoting the company’s podcast, making recommendations for future episode content, and alignment of podcast strategy with the overall marketing strategy.

● Leveraging the company’s existing marketing tools (including website, marketing automation, contact management, social media platforms, and analytics) and making recommendations on tools and processes as required for growth.

● Working directly with Company Guides to build community, support their marketing of their services, and encourage their active engagement in marketing efforts (including through social media, event/course promotion, Company Guide profiles, blog writing, and template creation).

● Helping to build community through direct engagement and communications with our Company Guides, Partners, program participants, prospects, and clients.

● Conducting research and implementing data collection methods (such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups) for the development of content (including for case studies and testimonials).

● Creating and continuing to evolve company marketing and communication materials including presentation formatting, templates, collateral, brand guidelines, imagery, libraries, etc.

● Maintaining the marketing and communications calendar and working with the Team to prioritize the marketing and communications backlog.

● Leading event marketing and conference sponsorship efforts.

● Coordinating the efforts of marketing vendors to effectively meet evolving business needs.

● Professional-level writing and editing skills.

● Strong creative design skills.
