Marketing & Communications Intern Jobs

Our Marketing & Communications team is looking to add an intern to our growing team. As a Marketing & Communications intern, you will be working directly with our Marketing & PR Associates to ensure our new book launches are successful through supporting the creation of launch content and press kits along with supporting book launch events in New York. This internship will give you the opportunity to learn in a fast-paced environment at the time of tremendous growth for the company. This challenging yet rewarding internship will be a great kickstart to your career and will give you the fundamentals required to be a successful and strategic Marketing & Communications Coordinator. This position would be ideal for a senior in college looking for marketing opportunities at a company that is rapidly expanding.

Communication:

• Collect, format, and file/archive all press clippings
• Coordinate dispatch of gifting copies
• Attend & help book launch events in New York
• Monitor international press activity
• Assist in creating press kits
• Assist in daily projects (research, organizing, compiling reports…)

Marketing:

• Proof checking newsletters before launch dates
• Checking over the book launch dates to coordinate with internal teams
• Assisting with visual merchandising
• Monitoring industry trends across social media
• Creating sales training documents on new book launches
• Research through upcoming books to support launch content
• Organizing and delivering all book asset packages to e-commerce
• Assisting with execution of photo and video shoots

Requirements

· B.A. in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related discipline

· Previous internships in Marketing, Communications, or PR are preferred

· Proficient in Adobe InDesign & Photoshop

· Ability to multitask in fast paced environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Impeccable attention to detail

· Interest in culture, art, and fashion is recommended

· Proactive, outgoing, positive, and professional personality
