The Role

We are looking for a marketing intern to help us deliver on Cometeer’s marketing vision. In this role, you will work closely with the marketing, growth and product teams. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who independently and consistently seeks opportunities to improve our marketing efforts, generate revenue opportunities, and enhance the customer experience across the board at Cometeer. They also need to be a supportive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high impact and cross-functional work environment.

What you’ll do:

• Content Creation:
• Data Management:
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects.
• Help with the creation and scheduling of social media posts, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with the brands voice.
• Support the team in organizing and analyzing data from various marketing campaigns.
• Market Research:
• Help create basic reports and presentations to communicate results and insights to the team.
• Compile and organize data to provide insights into potential marketing opportunities.
• Contribute to content creation efforts, such as writing blog posts, drafting social media copy, and creating visual assets.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
• Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and digital advertising.
• Assist in coordinating logistics for events, webinars, and promotional activities.
• Analytics and Reporting:
• Collaborate with the team to develop creative and compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
• Take advantage of opportunities to learn from experienced marketing professionals.
• Campaign Support:
• Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and managing marketing materials.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Assist in maintaining and updating marketing databases, contact lists, and customer profiles.
• Learning and Growth:
• Monitor and gather data on campaign performance metrics, website traffic, and social media engagement.

• Current undergraduate student
• Ability to work well independently and in close collaboration with teammates
• Strong background in analytics and data management
• Solution-oriented approach to problem solving that is grounded in data-based decision-making; does not "boil the ocean" to find answers to questions
• Strong strategic, analytical thinker with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Understands how to prioritize and tackle problems that vary in size and complexity
• Ability to develop clear, simple structural frameworks to solve analytical problems
