Job Title: Communications Intern
Location: on-site | NYC
Position Type: Internship | (37.5hrs) (3 months)
Salary: Based on $40K/year

This powerhouse organization is currently seeking a passionate intern to join its team and support its communications and marketing efforts. This paid internship will provide you with valuable exposure to various aspects of the communications industry while working closely with experienced professionals. As an intern, you will have the chance to develop your skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and make a real impact on this company's success.
**You will be on track to move into a Communications Coordinator role as early as 3 months into this internship.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor media coverage and provide reports on industry news and the competitive landscape.
- Conduct research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Support the coordination and execution of events, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
- Assist in developing and executing strategic communication plans to enhance brand visibility.
- Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and press releases.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with research techniques and ability to analyze data.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Graduated with a degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, or Political Science.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for diversity and inclusivity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
