Job Description

Position:Business Development & Marketing Coordinator (Global Law Firm)

Company:National Law Firm

Location:New York City (Hybrid WFH)

Comp Package:Base salary to $85K, Paid Overtime, Bonus, Full Benefits, 401K+, etc.

Summary:

Based in the firm’s midtown NYC office, the BD/Marketing Coordinator will support many of the department’s growth initiatives and report directly to the CMO. This role is instrumental to the success of the department and the Coordinator will have regular interaction with all levels of firm leadership.


Responsibilities for Business Development &Marketing Coordinator:

  • Writing/Content: Draft language for firm announcements, press releases and social media; content distribution through media providers and other channels
  • Conference Support: Identify and secure conference speaking opportunities for attorneys by monitoring external event calendars, trade and legal websites/journals
  • Business Intelligence: Prepare market and client background reports in alignment with practice group and individual attorney business development goals
  • Video Content: Edit and publish video segments on website and social media
  • Client Proposals: Assist partners and CMO with content development in connection with client/prospective client pitches and proposals
  • Event Execution: Budgeting, development and production, and post-event ROI evaluation
  • Social Media: Campaign development and execution in alignment with firm and practice group plans, evaluate metrics and develop profile growth strategy
  • Event Follow-up: Track attendance and support ongoing relationship development


Qualifications for Business Development &Marketing Coordinator:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing)
  • 1+ years of business development or marketing experience in a law firm
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Familiarity with legal directories.
  • Experience with business/market research tools and databases preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software and ability to learn new software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
