Managing Director - Investment Banking

Opportunity to join a newly-formed, full-service investment bank and build sector coverage practice from the ground-up. As a Managing Director, you will be on the front lines of the Firm's growth, leading transactions and building new relationships with clients, while also managing a team of Analysts, Associates and Principals.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Ability to run and motivate transaction teams and lead from the front lines
• Ability to engage with prospects and intermediaries in a creative manner, develop relationships, and work seamlessly with other senior bankers at the Firm
• Meaningful experience and proven ability to originate and execute transactions across all major investment banking products, including M&A and capital markets
• A deep, established network of clients, partners and investors, ideally concentrated in a particular sector (e.g., Healthcare, Business Services, etc.)
• Ability to work comfortably in an unstructured environment and operate with an “ownership mentality”
• Unquestionable ethics and judgement
• Self-starter willing to work in an entrepreneurial, demanding, and fast paced environment
• Proactive attitude accustomed to taking initiative and solving problems
• An intense, gritty, reliable work ethic and willingness to take an integral role in Firm growth
• Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to think outside the box
