Job Title
RBC Capital Markets seeks a Vice President, Investment Banking in New York, NY to evaluate and originate new business ideas and opportunities and coordinate with the Industry and Product teams. Identify and pursue banking business opportunities that align with approved budgets and plans, as well as operational risks and control deficiencies within the business. Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies, and other relevant risk and control functions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field plus 3 years of experience as an investment banker. 3 years of transaction experience in buy-side and sell-side M&A, focusing on the execution process, financial modeling, discounted cash flow, leverage buyout, mergers models, comparable analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
The base salary for this job is $275,000 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
