What will you be doing?

Barclays Capital Inc. seeks Investment Banking Vice President in New York, NY (multiple positions available):

• Manage junior teams to execute on client specific deliverables Collect and provide feedback for analysts and associates at year end reviews for all junior team members
• May telecommute
• Analyze multiple, complex internal and external data sources to identify, refine and size potential acquisition and growth opportunities for clients
• Use large datasets with multiple years of financial and operational metrics to develop and refine rigorous and highly technical valuation models to enhance client’s strategic objectives
• Serve as an essential point of contact on behalf of Barclays and develop long term strategic relationships with senior client team members
• Leverage statistics-based data analysis tools (including regression analysis) to analyze business trends
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with senior client team members to ensure successful executions for highly complex and substantially value additive strategic transactions
• Collaborate with and provide direction to internal teams of specialized industry experts
• Lead the sourcing and relationship development of new public and private clients
• Provide strategic advisory to clients, leveraging complex data, statistical models and operational information, as required
• Lead financial and technical analysis to provide solutions to complex business challenges posed by clients
• Utilize intricate data management and analysis tools including Salesforce, Excel, etc.
• Identify new talent (analysts and associates), mentor, interview and hire them into the group
• Conduct competitive landscape analyses to help identify new public and private clients who can provide additional sources of revenue for Barclays Bank PLC
• Analyze complicated current and forecasted data to identify key macroeconomic trends
• Evaluate and analyze company specific financial statements to extract and provide company specific insights to clients

What we’re looking for:

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our New York, New York location at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building.
