Investment Banking Managing Director Jobs

Meaningful experience and proven ability to originate and execute transactions across all major investment banking products, including M&A and capital markets

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

PhD or MD degree required; practical experience in relevant positions as a scientist, clinician, etc.

10+ years of combined investment and relevant operational experience from a venture capital firm or a corporate venture/business development environment

Develop network and relationships with VC and biotech community to grow awareness and help source investment opportunities and/or co-investors

Conduct and coordinate scientific, commercial, financial, and legal due diligence on potential investment opportunities.

Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management

Build and maintain relationships with senior client executives; actively develop, manage, and participate in the Firm’s business development and marketing initiatives

Undergraduate degree from a top-tier school with a minimum GPA of 3.5; 7+ years of direct investment banking experience

Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with relevant banking-related databases / applications (Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.)

•Managing the creation of comprehensive pitch decks, information memoranda, management presentations and marketing materials;

•5+ years of experience in investment banking/capital raising

•College degree, preferably in Marketing or Finance

•Excellent written and oral communications skills;

•Highly proficient financial analysis and modeling skills;
