The Information Services Data Governance/Reporting Associate will be working within the Information Services Group on vendor strategy, workflow metrics, content management, and key deliverables for Investment Banking.

Will assist in coordinating across the organization on the selection of products and datasets, inventory control, and usage analysis as ongoing management of the firm’s data spend with third party vendors.

This team provides guidance to internal users on data services and datasets appropriate for specific roles and use cases, coordinates expense management initiatives and provides data analytics to enable users and internal business teams to manage costs effectively while driving the right leverage and efficiency to the banker desktop.

In this role you will also manage data vendors across the purchase cycle – trials, selection, onboarding, packaging, provisioning, product migrations; coordinate with engineering on maintenance, upgrades, issue resolution; consult with legal, compliance, tech risk to ensure all contracts meet the firm’s standards, invoice payment and reconciliation.

• Knowledge of data vendor products and an understanding the lexicon of investment banking will enable you to contribute to the formulation of strategies to reduce operating expenses, impact revenue, and maximize the ROI for our market data spend.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience analyzing large datasets and data visualization.
• Familiar with products and datasets offered by Market Data vendors or vendors management.
• Experience with project management
• Strong technical / Excel skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with using Business Intelligence software (Tableau, Qlik, Python, Alteryx, Power BI etc.)
• Experience working in financial institutions.
