Job Description

DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT


Pasadena, California


Join as the Director of Product Management and shape the future of space and aerospace software products. Lead company's product vision, overseeing roadmap development and management in alignment with strategies and goals.


Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams in this cross-functional role.


Their company empowers customers to launch satellite payloads and space vehicles efficiently. Streamlining mission management using NASA-developed tools from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, enabling teams to focus on advancing space exploration and commercialization.


Responsibilities:


  • Assess competitors and identify differentiation opportunities.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed engineering requirements.
  • Lead product lifecycle processes, research, planning, and launch.
  • Build and own the product roadmap aligned with strategy.
  • Collaborate to ensure successful development and release.
  • Drive product and business planning for cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships.
  • Develop product requirements and go-to-market plans.


Required Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or computer science.
  • Strong track record in dynamic product management.
  • Experience in product marketing and software/web development.
  • Knowledge of spacecraft missions/systems or similar.
  • Proficiency in Atlassian (Confluence and Jira).
