Position Overview:
The Manager of Ecommerce has dual responsibility to drive sales while prioritizing the user experience across all ecommerce touchpoints. The Manager owns platform management, DTC operations and communicating business recaps to stakeholders. The role works cross-functionally with Marketing, Buying, Logistics, CRM, and service partners to deliver growth and profitability across DTC channels. The Manager oversees one direct report and reports to the Senior Director of Ecommerce.
Key Responsibilities:
Site & Platform Management:
- Analyzes platform, product, and performance; developing insights to prioritize initiatives which drive sales, product sell-through and client experience.
- Optimizes site with SEO considerations, working closely with the agency to identify and manage updates to support ongoing needs.
- Recommends A/B tests to drive growth and conversion rate along with CMS enhancements.
- Responsible for US and Canada sites in 2 languages – English and French.
- Supports localization in terms of relevant services throughout the customer journey and product lifecycle.
- Supports site enhancements and changes, from evaluation to execution and testing.
- Confirms, diagnoses, and manages the resolution of technical issues with supporting tools and partners.
Ecommerce DTC Operations:
- Provides guidance, direction, and daily approvals for site content updates and email development.
- Works closely with senior members of the Buying & Planning teams to reinforce product targets.
- Oversees full end-to-end process supporting product catalogue and publishing across platforms.
- In collaboration with Marketing & Global teams, establishes marketing calendars and CRM activities.
- Manages Farfetch marketplace for NCSA in partnership with global teams.
- Liaises with Logistics & Retail teams for order fulfilment and omnichannel initiatives.
- Monitors onsite assortment strategy, visual merchandising, and inventory levels to ensure appropriate in-stock positions.
- Executes promotions and markdowns.
Reporting:
- Manages weekly/monthly sales and business reports providing detailed analysis on key business metrics including site performance, conversion rates, sales by product, digital channels etc.
- Leads analytics function to track, measure, and report on all KPIs - with special attention paid to site performance, performance marketing results and inventory management.
- Represents NCSA Ecommerce in weekly leadership meetings, as needed and communicates regional needs.
Experience & Key Competencies:
- Ability to take initiative, ownership and accountability.
- Experience with Google Analytics, JIRA, Wrike, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Akeneo, SAP, PowerBI and Forter a plus.
- Be able to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures.
- Pro-active, self-starter.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in eCommerce at a retail brand.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience in creating visually appealing and succinct powerpoints.
- Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication, verbal and analytical skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of luxury clientele and language.
- SFCC experience is a must.
- Collaborative, communicative, and organized team player, adept at balancing multiple priorities at once.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Strong sense of teamwork, ability to multi-task, and manage priorities with ease.
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and diplomatically address and control challenging situations.
