Manager, Lab Lead Coordinator Team

Position Summary:
This player coach role will be responsible for leading a team of lead generation professionals who are responsible for identifying potential clients and developing relationships with them, prospecting new laboratory opportunities and converting inquiries into qualified leads that are passed to the lab sales organization to close.
The role will develop and implement lead generation strategies, be the escalation point of contact for the Lead Team, provide daily guidance and support navigating for resolution. Also, responsible for developing and conducting training to onboard new Lead Coordinators.
In addition to leading the team, the role is also hands on performing similar work as the lead team members.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Team Direction: Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Lab Lead Coordinator team. Creates and implements customer and field facing lead generation campaigns. Provides guidance in the day-to-day administrative activities of the Lab Lead Coordinator team. Ensures team is familiar with and is actively using SFDC daily prospecting and customer creation, and the strategic coordination with external and internal sources. Building training materials and conducting training for new team members. Responsible for the onboarding and training of new team members.

3.Develop & Lead Your Team – Drive performance and development activities including but not limited to leading through change; performance management of your team; self-directed continuing education; training to ensure skills and knowledge of lead generation action; and keeping current on events within McKesson. Effectively communicate to & motivate your team during team meetings, 1:1s, via email, etc. Ensure they understand McKesson’s strategy and local tactics. Nurture and grow the competencies and capabilities of your teams through effective observation during side-by-sides, coaching & feedback from stakeholders. Hiring activities focused on ensuring team diversity.
4.Lead Collection & Research: Prospects for and manages the daily intake of leads from various sources. Research leads using the appropriate internal and external resources & information. Seeks and implements new lead generation capabilities.
5.Customer Engagement: Contacts and engages with leads to profile, assess interest, provide information, and warm leads for further engagement with the corresponding Lab Sales team. Follows up on any other unassigned leads and customer requests.
6.Delivery & Reporting: Provides qualified lead information to the corresponding lab sales team. Tracks team lead activity manually and through systems such as Salesforce.com (SFDC). Creates monthly reporting to track team progress to goals and ensures the visibility of the Lab Lead Coordinator team within McKesson Medical-Surgical.
7.Team selling: Collaborates with the overall lab sales team by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Builds strong relationships with teammates. Setting appointments and hand off leads to lab specialists and/or corresponding Account Executives.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training

• BA/BS College Degree preferred

Business Experience Required

• 1 year leading a team directly or indirectly
• 6 years of professional experience
• Previous lead qualification experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge of Lab customers is a plus
• Ability to navigate multiple screens simultaneously
• Excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Computer platform skills including MS Office and CRM (Customer Relationship Management tool)

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$68,800 - $114,600
