The Manager, Integrated Marketing at Forbes is a strategic role on the Top Accounts marketing team that will have a specialized focus on the creation of best-in-class ForbesLive marketing materials and integrated strategy work in support of our events business.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and roll-out of sales materials and presentations in support of ForbesLive - from general presentations for our flagship tentpole events (Forbes Under 30 Summit, Forbes World’s Most Influential CMOs in Cannes, Forbes CIO Summit in California, etc.), to live event recap decks used by our account management team to renew and upsell partners, to bespoke, integrated proposal decks that include sponsored or custom event moments for Forbes’ most valued Top Account clients and partners.

You can communicate big ideas with persuasive narration and then substantiate them with deep understanding of our partners’ business landscape and the audiences ForbesLive events serve – using your marketing prowess to connect the value of ForbesLive clearly and creatively to Forbes’ partners’ business objectives.
You’re a skilled presentation designer and a confident communicator who is comfortable to lead and participate in conceptual brainstorms, quarterback cross-team collaboration, achieve buy-in among varied stakeholders for your ideas, and participate in meeting settings with senior leaders as needed.
What You’ll Do
  • Create proactive materials (category decks, sell sheets, general presentations) and ideas in support of growing our ForbesLive and Top Accounts business that position our team as best-in-class ideators who are on the pulse of our clients’ needs
  • Serve as a collaborative partner in the strategy and creative ideation for marketing initiatives for ForbesLive and beyond – ideating cross-platform opportunities that come to life through experiential activations, custom salon event experiences, editorial initiatives, digital content, social, video, print, etc. that extend beyond the event moment
  • Identify new and innovative partnership opportunities and unique storytelling formats that help brands’ reach our influential audiences where they are
  • Multi-task and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams – sales, account management, audience development, PR & social, content & design - to own the marketing process for ForbesLive-related materials and Top Account RFPs as needed
  • Develop a deep understanding of ForbesLive partner brands’ KPIs and business objectives in order to drive tangible value for their business and/or thought leadership and to communicate Forbes’ unique value as a leading events and media partner
  • Create engaging presentations that clearly convey ForbesLive experiences and their respective sponsorship opportunities for prospective and returning brand partners
  • Take lead as our in-house marketing expert for ForbesLive, responsible for the creation and delivery of ForbesLive sales and marketing materials for our flagship tentpole events hosted virtually, hybrid, and in-person in the US & internationally
  • Day-to-day responsibilities involve but are not limited to: participation in brainstorms, internal kick-offs and strategy sessions; creation of best-in-class sales materials in PowerPoint; integrated creative concept ideation; gathering insights and crafting a narrative to support your deck work; presenting your work in internal and/or external meetings; light administrative & reporting responsibilities
What You'll Bring
  • Previous experience ideating cross-platform pitches that extend beyond events to custom content, digital, social, and video strongly preferred
  • Strong business acumen with a natural ability to anticipate needs, innovate and excel in a fast-paced sales environment that requires solution-and-detail-orientation
  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
  • 3-5 years of integrated marketing or brand strategy experience developing proposals, brand materials and decks; strong PowerPoint skills and an appreciation for design to enhance your deliverables are a must.
  • Ability to influence as an empathetic team player who is eager to develop strong internal and external relationships to establish trust in your creative thinking and marketing expertise
  • Proven experience as a deft multi-tasker with the aptitude to navigate presentation work representing diverse industries and audience communities with multiple deadlines at once
  • Executive presence and comfortability working closely with and presenting to clients and/or agency partners
  • An entrepreneurial spirit in line with the Forbes brand
  • Samples that showcase your ‘best of’ work that highlight the strength of your writing and design
The annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $95,000
Forbes has estimated the compensation range set forth above in good faith. The compensation range is what we believe we will offer, and ultimately pay, a successful candidate. In determining this range, we consider the experience, level of education (if applicable to the role), knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be had by a successful candidate as well as the budget and the company’s pay rates, generally.
