Job Summary
Paycor is a key player in the HCM software as a service market. We build, sell, and service our own proprietary payroll, time, and HR platform. Client onboarding is at the crux of our business. It’s the key to lasting client satisfaction and retention. To help us succeed in this mission, we’re seeking a front line leader to coach and develop our Implementation professionals to provide a world-class client onboarding experience.

Paycor’s Manager, Implementation is responsible for executing all strategic activities related to transitioning new clients to Paycor’s software applications. Requirements include demonstrated leadership skills; more specifically the ability to lead and influence a team of front-line Implementation associates to make sure each Implementation is memorable and successful. The Manager’s success is ultimately measured by seamless implementations that meet Paycor’s and clients’ high quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Development/IT to understand Paycor’s product capabilities and how they address clients’ needs
  • Implement internal workflow policies/procedures; recommend and manage improvement efforts
  • Cultivate relationships with Sales to understand clients’ expectations and reasons for choosing Paycor
  • Establish and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
  • Implement efficiency gains to maximize the client experience and to establish a culture of continuous improvement
  • Lead a team of client-facing associates responsible for effective and accurate configurations of single or multi-product implementations
  • Foster a working environment that is energized, motivating and contributes to the positive associate engagement
  • Analyze key Implementation metrics to assess the team’s performance relative to client service; recognize trends and lead actions to maximize productivity and efficiencies
  • Maintain a close connection to all active implementation projects; communicate status updates to various stakeholders
  • Collaborate with direct reports to drive personal and organizational success; execute Paycor’s core people practices including: performance management, professional development, coaching, and recognition
  • Provide coaching to all team members relative to a best-in-class client onboarding experience
  • Serve as an escalation point, visiting clients on site when appropriate
  • Work with internal business partners to investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot sensible solutions to technical anomalies between clients’ and Paycor systems
  • Understand capacity for each direct reports, allocate new deals based on availability to provide highest level of client service
  • Partner with Client Support to effectively transition clients from start up to ongoing maintenance
Requirements
  • Demonstrated proficiency with complex technology
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • At least 5 years management experience, technology implementation experience preferred
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs with short turnaround
  • Payroll and/or HCM software knowledge preferred
  • Limited travel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt to change and a rapidly growing environment
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills; must excel at providing direction, motivating, and coaching to direct reports and be visible with front line managers and associates
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $85,540-146,040. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
