Position Overview


This position acts as a business partner to effectively manage the Human Resources functions and align HR strategies and programs with business initiatives. This role actively implements and guides positive results related to talent management best practices, people management and development, change management and communication and drives engagement and retention initiatives.


Key Responsibility Areas


  • Employee Communications: Build employee engagement through the effective delivery of information and impactful communications that will communicate priorities, culture and encourage collaboration across the organization; develop communication systems and strategies for managers and leaders
  • Employee Relations: Drive the development and implementation of organizational employee relations strategies, programs, and policies to promote productive and positive relationships between managers, leaders, employees and co-workers
  • General Human Resources Support: Provide comprehensive support across all Human Resources disciplines to acquire, engage and develop top talent and drive organizational growth and success


Specific Responsibilities


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Work collaboratively across all groups to generate communication plans and strategies that keep employees informed about what is happening in the organization
  • Counsel management and employees regarding employee relations matters and lead internal investigations to resolve employee relations, disciplinary and performance related issues
  • Consult with functional leaders in areas such as HR strategies, organizational structure, workforce planning and change management to drive growth and alignment to organizational strategy
  • Advise and educate employees on Human Resources policies, procedures, and legal updates
  • Consult with hiring managers to attract and retain high potential and top performers
  • Guide and monitor employee engagement and build programs and initiatives to strengthen engagement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, coach and advisor to leaders in the areas of talent acquisition, development, engagement, and talent performance as well as positive employee relations and conflict resolution

Preferred Qualifications


  • Ability to impact and influence all levels of the company
  • At least five years of progressive HR experience
  • Comprehensive HR experience in a fast-changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or closely related discipline
  • Prior experience providing HR partnership and support to remote and sales teams


Physical Requirements


  • Position requires occasional travel
  • Position requires the ability to occasionally lift in excess of 20 lbs.
