Currently, we are seeking an experienced Manager Consultant who will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with both internal and client team members to address critical business issues and deliver value by providing strategic and actionable solutions.
Work You will Do:
The Manager Consultant will gain exposure to clients across the healthcare landscape, including patient advocacy groups, biopharmaceutical and life sciences companies, medical societies, patient advocacy groups, and others and biotech companies. You will have a variety of responsibilities, including supporting DKI Health's growth strategy, assisting in the management of external client-facing projects and internal projects, assessing client needs, analyzing and synthesizing data, and formulating and making recommendations.
Responsibilities:
●Address complex healthcare and life sciences problems and provide strategic recommendations.
●Lead and manage projects and teams of multiple people with the support of senior staff.
●Work independently and as part of a team, with responsibility for supervising junior team members and driving the implementation of all processes with cross-functional team members. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members and ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
●Conduct and analyze primary and secondary research to identify key findings and learnings.
●Perform quantitative or qualitative analysis to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client deliverables.
●Communicate strategic findings to the internal senior team and clients.
●Assist in the development and writing of proposals, as well as drive the definition of project and program scopes (proposals and SOWs) with clients and internal stakeholders.
●Have a solid understanding of the current trends in the biopharma industry and stay up-to-date on evolving and future trends and impact. Good understanding of latest developments in medical and genetic sciences across therapeutic areas, with an emphasis on Oncology, Immunology, Neurology, Infectious Disease, and other chronic or rare conditions
●Experience in clinical development, commercial Strategy, Market Access, and/or Medical Affairs preferred.
●Understand Technology in Healthcare and the Impact of Artificial Intelligence.
●Be a free thinker and collaborator in all new ventures and opportunities, either as a leader or a part of the team.
●Execute against timelines on assigned projects, both internal and external. Develop and maintain project management documentation such as project/work plans, status updates and reports, communication plans, and other related materials.
●Create deliverables and internal materials, such as slide decks, presentations, written reports, process maps, charts, graphs, and other data visualizations, and oversee the production of these items by other consultants.
●Plan and contribute to multiple projects and workstreams effectively.
●Develop a broad knowledge of related consulting methodologies through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.
●Attend, support, and present at client meetings.
●Contribute to learning, development, and recruiting.
Required Experience and Skills:
●Adept at research
●Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
●Strong in New Development Trends through personal Research (Knowledge Seeker)
●Exceptional competencies in PowerPoint and Excel
●Exemplary attention to detail
●Excellent written and oral communication skills
●Solid time management skills
●Self-motivated
●Have Coaching and Guiding Skills
●Proficiency in English (multi-lingual a plus)
Required Qualifications
●Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, economics/business, and/or experience in the health care industry (MBA, MPH preferred).
●Proven track record of managing teams.
●Minimum 5-8 years of prior Consulting experience.
●Prior work experience in healthcare / biopharmaceuticals / patient advocacy / health equity.
Other Requirements:
●Ability to travel to office-site 2-3 days weekly.
●Dedicated remote workspace.
●Ability to work in virtual teams.
●Ability to travel to client sites and DKI Health-sponsored events.
