The Product Marketing team uses creativity, market research, and insights to optimize and inspire roadmaps for products across Snap Inc. This team of Product Marketers works in a highly collaborative environment to deliver go-to-market efforts and strategies to demonstrate the role that Snapchat plays in the lives of our community and helps businesses grow.


We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our Product team at Snap Inc!


What you’ll do:


  • Build frameworks and processes to structure conversations, create & socialize marketing initiatives, and drive alignment across teams and leadership
  • Lead extensive market research to identify new content opportunities through qualitative and quantitative analysis, constantly assess the capabilities and value proposition of our ad products via market trends, advertiser feedback and competitive benchmarking in order to influence our monetization strategy
  • Inspire and educate both internal and external teams on Snapchat’s performance solutions for advertisers
  • Inform the product strategy and roadmap for eComm solutions, specifically Dynamic Ads, product feeds / catalogs, and Native Commerce (i.e. Stores and Checkout)
  • Use your market knowledge and analytical mindset to properly inform the roadmap, build global go to market strategies, and coordinate ongoing marketing efforts to grow awareness, understanding, and adoption of Snapchat’s eCommerce advertising solutions
  • Drive successful cross functional alignment on go to market strategy & planning and track success metrics accordingly
  • Partner closely with our Product Management and Sales teams to build and launch commerce ad solutions to meet the needs of our Retail advertising partners.
  • Be a recognized eCommerce expert and collaborate with a group of Product Managers and Product Marketers to develop global go-to market strategies and plans, including product positioning, narrative, internal communications, and marketing activation strategies


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Strong public speaking skills and comfortable presenting to groups of 100 - 500+
  • A team player who can successfully work cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups, both within Snapchat and across partner organizations, with minimal guidance
  • Strong experience launching products & drive global adoption to millions of people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing industry dynamics, especially performance advertising and Dynamic Product Ads


Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or other related area of study
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, internet technology or other relevant digital marketing work


Preferred qualifications:


  • Track record of overseeing multiple products throughout their entire lifecycle: from pre-planning, to launch, to expanding features and maturing the solution post-launch
  • At ease with data analytics tools, such as Looker & Excel, and working with Data Science or Data Engineering teams


Compensation:


In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.


  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $205,000 - $295,000 annually
  • Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $195,000 - $280,000 annually
  • Zone C: The base salary range] for this position is $174,000 - $251,000 annually


This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
