Wasserman’s Brands division is looking for a motivated individual to join a dedicated retainer team supporting a key technology client. This position is responsible for managing various aspects of the client’s partnership portfolio and will support account team members with partner management, project coordination, client measurement/reporting and presentations, and the implementation of timelines and budgets.
Duties
- Assists in the construction of POVs and trend reports (including research and analysis), providing strategic recommendations to the client based on findings.
- Manages activation and creative approval processes for partnership materials and acts as a subject matter expert on all partnership creative/activation guidelines to ensure efficient execution of all partnership marketing activities.
- Coordinates the logistical planning, implementation and execution of contractual assets, activation programs and/or content production as applicable.
- Manage ongoing measurement and reporting tools for client engagements, activation and event programing.
- Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
- Monitors media, trends and changing sports & entertainment landscape to keep client executives and other team members are up to date on the industry.
- Tracks activation budget for the client-based partnership activation spends.
- Works creatively with client team members to develop decks and reporting materials.
- Helps lead the day-to-day management of select sports and entertainment partnerships, with responsibility for partner and project management.
- Utilize and continuously optimize existing valuation methodologies to support internal client materials, inquiries and quarterly reporting.
- Where applicable, handles event logistics planning, implementation, and execution.
- May take on specialized roles or projects to assist the team such as working directly with third party vendors or partner agencies to execute client activations/programs.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- Must be flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team.
- Must be able to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- 3+ years relevant work experience in account and project management (sports and entertainment industry preferred).
- Ability to think creatively in a team environment.
- Able to carry out responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A demonstrated history of using data and insights to inform strategic decision making.
- A passion for and an up-to-date knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry.
- Comfortable with extended days/nights, especially during periods of partnership activation.
