The Event Management Project Manager will work from our North Carolina headquarters in High Point.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Physically able to sort and organize packages up to 50 lbs.
- Inventory control and organization
- Determine best course for projects – Criteria based on client meeting or information from marketing consultant.
- Create appropriate timelines and schedules.
- Attend client meetings as directed.
- Oversee and remain accountable for all aspects of projects by interacting with all internal departments, i.e. Service, Custom, Design, Sales, and Fabrication.
- Conduct project kickoff and status meetings with Account Managers, Design and Service departments.
- Monitor current work processes and make recommendations for improving/revising procedures.
- Inquire and confirm product availability and lead time with outside vendors and complete appropriate internal paperwork for outside vendor purchases.
- Coordinate with the Service Department for scheduling of client previews, exhibit shipment, and Installation and Dismantle and/or show services (if applicable).
- Ensure exhibit acceptance in accordance with design and invoice. Handle any post sale quality issues with outside vendors (Return Authorizations, reproductions, etc.)
- Utilize internal systems and tools (project log, Basecamp) to communicate project updates.
