Brand Marketing Designer

The Sage Group’s client, a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life is launching a new, highly innovative biowearable technology that provides users a window into their body. A product that tracks key biomarkers – such as glucose, ketones, and lactate – to help people make better decisions about their health and nutrition. This Biowearable technology will digitize, decentralize, and democratize healthcare, enabling consumers to take control of their own health.

As a creative designer, you will support the overall efforts of the creative team by executing innovative projects in alignment with brand strategy and creative director’s guidelines. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality creative work with strong attention to detail while maintaining consistently high standards. You will deliver on-time, on-strategy, and on-budget solutions by identifying and guiding external creative resources for all assigned projects.

This is a great opportunity to work with a well-known executive creative director who allows you to work autonomously while being supported by a team as needed. Creativity is highly encouraged, this is not an "in the box" role or environment.

The role:

• Ensure all artwork produced meets the needs, requirements, brand values, and guidelines
• Collect, read, and interpret documented client briefs to deliver innovative, creative projects based on solid brand strategies
• Manage design presentation preparation, including mock-ups, mounting, and PowerPoint summaries
• Study the creative marketplace, stay on top of the latest trends and innovations, develop and maintain an understanding of 3-dimensional structural solutions
• Develop and maintain knowledge of printing technologies and methodologies for all POS and packaging components
• Produce concepts and sketches and actively participate in internal reviews of creative projects
• Creating strong branding, sales, and marketing collateral
• Collaborate with team members to meet the expectations and standards of the creative design department
• Identify and guide external creative resources for all assigned projects to deliver on-time, on-strategy, and on-budget solutions
• Manage project organization for all project binders and archive design solutions and illustrations
• Maintain, translate, and extend the product brand equities look and feel, brand identity, and style guidelines

In order to be successful, you will bring the following skills and experience:

• A professional portfolio exemplifying a clean, sophisticated design aesthetic, ideally for consumer focused products
• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
• Strong communication skills
• Proven success designing marketing assets for various digital channels
• Excellent sense of design, typography, and conceptual thinking
• Experience using Figma
• University degree in art, advertising, graphic design, communications, or similar fields
• 4-5+ years of relevant experience as a designer
• A creative mindset in a fast-evolving technological environment
• Passion for design and a keen eye for innovative ideas and trends

Duration: Contract role with the possibility of extending long term or becoming an employee if a great fit for all

Location: Hybrid, on-site in Alameda, CA 3 days per week

Compensation: $ 70.00 but flexible to experience. Hiring a full team so all levels encouraged to apply
