Job Title: Management and Program Analyst- Level II


Location: Washington, DC


Schedule: Monday to Friday, Hybrid


Hours: Daytime

Position Summary


RavenTek is seeking a Mid-Level Management and Program Analyst in support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) M Bureau Institutional Staff Support (MBISS) contract. The role will assist with more senior and experienced project analysts with a range of functions related to supporting USAID's safeguarding efforts, including developing policies, improving business processes, and building awareness and capacity around counter-trafficking in persons, protection from sexual exploitation and abuse, and child safeguarding. The mid-level MPA may also be assigned to specialized functions requiring relevant work experience as outlined in the associated scope of work.


Essential Functions


  • Prepares briefing materials and talking points for senior officials, and provides recommendations for strategic action, as needed.
  • Provides USAID leadership with data-driven analytics on safeguarding through the implementation of a new case-management system and establishing the M Bureau as the centralized USAID hub for safeguarding allegations.
  • Provides expert coordination, and consultation on preventing and prohibiting safeguarding violations in USAID's programs.
  • Assists in developing clear guidance for implementing partners and USAID stuff related to their safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Assists in receiving, reviewing, evaluating, coordinating, and responding to allegations of safeguarding violations within USAID's acquisition and assistance work.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and prepares documents that cover diverse and complex administrative, policy, business process, and legal issues, while providing recommendations to guide strategic engagement on safeguarding.
  • Produces memoranda, review and analysis on safeguarding matters.
  • Supports other safeguarding related duties, as needed.


Requirements


Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise


  • Proven proficiency in the use of the internet, email applications, and database applications.
  • Demonstrate the ability to appropriately handle sensitive and extensive confidential information.
  • Proven proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proven proficiency in the use of the Google Suite, including Google Sheets, Docs, and slides.
  • Excellent skills in communicating both orally and in writing, in plain language with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders, in addition to technical and non-technical audiences.


Experience And Education


  • Minimum of three years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Business Administration, Public Management, or a relevant field.

Physical Demands


  • Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format.

  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing.
