- Organize program documents and files for quick search and retrieval
- Assist senior members of the team in providing advice and recommendations to the government
- Work closely with subject matter experts to conduct data analysis
- Provide logistical and note-taking support for key meetings
- Contribute to the firm’s business development and growth strategy
- Manage program correspondence and inquiries that effectively represent the program
- Support task management and project coordination across lanes of the project
- Develop and finalize communications materials and briefings with little oversight
- Build and distribute knowledge in public safety communications initiatives and key concepts
- Interact directly with clients to address taskers quickly and effectively

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Proficient in problem-solving with a flexible approach toward stakeholders
- US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass suitability/public trust clearance
- Expert in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal -- skilled in note taking during high stakes and rapidly moving meetings, skilled in writing, editing, and knowledge management
- Demonstrate a positive attitude even when faced with changes or adversity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment by communicating effectively
- Minimum 2 years of experience independently coordinating projects, tasks, and assignments
- Experience in strategy, change management, or public safety a plus
- Experience or interest in public safety communications and/or emergency management
- Previous experience in consulting, project management, business writing, meeting preparation and facilitation, and/or stakeholder outreach
- Experience in organizational budgeting or accounting
- Prioritization Skills - ability to sequence tasks in order of terms of importance; and willingness to pivot if more important tasks arise
- Unflappable - capability to navigate unexpected challenges with grace and come up with thoughtful solutions; you fully embrace a ‘we-will-figure-it-out’ mindset in chaos
- Rapport Builder - having a natural ability to build candid, honest relationships with our clients and colleagues
- Resourceful - eager to learn more and develop skills you may not have; and ability to learn new systems quickly and a thirst to learn independently
