Position Summary
The Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and will support creating, coordinating, planning, scheduling, and supervising maintenance tasks and work orders. As the Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler, you'll be responsible for various tasks such as reviewing jobs, requirements for jobs to be completed that include labor, parts, and maintaining safety within the maintenance department. This also includes maintaining all documentation, sketches, pictures, diagrams of parts organized. The Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler will also be required to use a CMMS (Maximo).

What You Will Need

• Knowledge and understanding of the maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling and storeroom processes
• A College degree is preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational, excellent written, verbal, leadership skills are required. You'll need to be able to provide simple and concise instructions to team members.
• 5+ years of planning/scheduling experience
• Good working knowledge of MS office and use of CMMS
• Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously until completion
• A mechanical background is required where having an electrical planning background would be a plus!
• Ability to read standard blueprints, machine and process drawings. Ability to sketch or redline existing drawings
• Proven experience with accurately estimating labor hours, material requirements and skills needed to complete jobs.
