Job Description

Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions; includes estimating. Analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources; prepares production reports

CAREER LEVEL D
Applies advanced knowledge of the processes and procedures within own discipline. Considered a subject matter expert level. Capabilities are typically gained through a combination of job-related training and considerable work experience. Works autonomously within established procedures and guidelines and performs the most challenging and non-routine tasks. May serve as a resource when new procedures and guidelines are being established. May act as a Lead for other employees within the job progression (as needed), coordinating the work of others, but is not a formal supervisor. Progression to this level is limited based on employee capability and organizational need. This is the Lead level for the few go-to employees seen as subject matter experts by supervisors and their colleagues.
