Vox Media is looking for a hard-working, fast-moving, beauty-obsessed social media coordinator to help manage social channels for our well-known beauty client’s accounts, as well as other lifestyle projects. In this role you will write and schedule social posts, respond to comments and DMs, and engage with the community across various social media platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Product reviews for site content as needed
• Develop a deep understanding of brand POV and voice to reflect in social
• Images
• Work with client on UGC and permissions
• Ensure all images are client owned or we have rights to use
• Ensure all images have proper credit
• Optimize social scheduling over time based on best times, etc.
• Live Videos
• Grow social followings
• Write social optimized captions, headlines, etc. to increase CTR according to best practices per platform
• Collect and organize all UGC and client owned assets for social
• Serve as on-camera talent / face as needed
• Respond to user DMs and comments
• Optimize image alt text for SEO and social
• Manage social swap partnerships and track social collaboration
• Manage posting and responses to any LIVE social posts/sessions
• GIFs
• Graphics
• Work with the editorial team to facilitate syndication of content
• Build and grow social accounts for lifestyle brands
• Help build social media content calendars
• Cultivate social community
• Work with audience development team on regular scorecards and other reports
• Grow social impressions and engagement within social platforms
• Work directly with brands to amplify priorities (ie: product launches) across social platforms
• Use tools like RivalIQ and Measure Studio to report on any social metrics as needed
• Syndicate content across social partners
• Engage with audience across all platforms
• Work with client on growing and managing influencer network
• Work with the creative team to create new assets
• Format social assets for Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube
• Videos
• Report on social performance
• Manage social scheduling and posting across all platforms directly in app or in scheduling platform
• Stay ahead of changes in the social media landscape to be able to recommend and implement for clients

Who You Are

• Beauty, fashion, wellness, or lifestyle experience a plus
• Super organized with the ability to juggle multiple platforms and priorities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Sprinklr and RivalIQ experience a plus
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to stay ahead of trends and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape, especially emerging social tools and platforms
• 1+ year of experience in social media
• Ability to produce clean, witty, accurate social teasers

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
Pay Range
$55,000—$62,000 USD
