100% Remote Gaming Social Media Manager

A Little About the Gig

Agility Partners is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Social Media Manager position with a Fortune 15 company based in the greater Seattle area. This Manager will help manage and grow the social media channels and work oversee and execute on social media campaigns along with engaging with players on social media platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to own a big piece of a top sandbox gaming franchise with a lot of freedom within the framework for creative ability. In this role you will:

• Generate and publish social content and engage with audiences daily.
• Create social media campaigns for key beats in partnership with our Marketing, PR and Game teams.
• Manage content calendars, scheduling, drafting copy and posting on our social media channels, as well as monitoring analytics and reporting.
• Design and implement social media strategy that resonates with our diverse and global audience and aligned with Minecraft’s overarching brand, tone of voice, and social strategy.
• Host content ideation and team brainstorms.
• Curate user generated content (UGC) and identify potential influencers, creators, and customer voices to highlight and work with.
• Define channel priorities, set goals and targets, aligning to business goals and audience insights.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working in gaming sector preferred
• Experience managing high volume social media channels for well-known brand or product
• Exceptional knowledge of social media, which means you stay up to date with new trends and features
• Competent with Office 365 and analytics tools (Sprinklr and native social media analytics experience)
• Copywriting experience for social media and an ability to easily adapt to tone of voice
• Understanding of community engagement and audience strategy
• 5+ years of experience in social media strategy planning, goal setting, and implementation
