Position Overview:

Incumbent serves as Logistics Supervisor, Campus Mail in Mail Services -a division of Integrated Procure-to-Pay-Solutions (IPPS) Logistics housed within Business and Financial Services (BFS). This position is responsible for supervision and assisting with the strategic growth and direction of the University's Campus Mail Program. Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review. Directs subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies. Provides operational and strategic leadership support to staff and student employees and ensures projects and initiatives align with IPPS strategic direction.

• Hiring Pay Scale: $34,200 - $79,000/Year. NOTE: Salary placement is determined by the top candidate’s overall qualifications/relevant experience, market data and internal equity.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Working knowledge of 1) SC Logic Intra Package Processing Software, 2) Customer Relationship Management platforms (i.e., Salesforce), 3) Mail Billing Application (MBA) and 4) Opex Mail Matrix mail sorting system.
• Effective interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications. Solid proficiency with Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel) or other relevant application programs.
• Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of handheld mobile computer/barcode scanners.
• Effective verbal and written communication skill; Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills to provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to professional and support staff. Experience setting unit objectives and timelines, ensuring teamwork and cooperation, and stimulating the productivity of key team members.
• Working knowledge of mail, package, shipping, and express services operations, as well as related policy and regulatory compliance requirements from postal and other services, domestic and international.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to set project objectives, determine and address potential barriers identify required resources, identify process steps and milestones and adjust action plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Knowledge of mail preparation with ability to interpret U.S. Postal Service rules and regulations per the Domestic Mail Manual (DMM) and International Mail Manual (IMM). Knowledge of UPS and FedEx rules and regulations.

• Overtime may be required during peak periods.
• Must pass background check.
