Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The 3PL Operations Analyst will be responsible for maintaining efficient and effective logistics operations between CZMI Americas Hub and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) for Meditec. This position will be based in Dublin and is the liaison between 3PLs, corporate management, and Meditec Dublin functional departments (order administration, inventory control, service, operations, etc.) Provides technical, administrative, and operational guidance to the 3PL and represent CZMI business interests in discussions with 3PL team, transport carriers, supply chain, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of inbound advance shipment notifications (ASNs); outbound delivery requests; general warehouse transactions (scrap, blocking, transfers, and discrepancies); and product returns. Provides daily operational data as needed.
  • Investigates process failures and coordinates activities to identify root causes, and communicate with 3PL, corporate managers, and/or functional departments to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Daily monitor of incident management system (Jira), and ensure open cases are closed within agreed service levels.
  • Provide support for Inbound (MRB), Outbound discrepancies, processing returned goods, and determining proper disposition (i.e. return to stock, repair, scrap, etc).
  • Provide operational guidance to 3PL for alignment of priorities with organization demand.
  • Advises 3PL Management Staff to ensure schedules are met and / or resolve technical problems.
  • Work with Order Administration on escalation of orders and last-minute change requests. Support 3PL to achieve Customer Perfect Order (CPO) and On Time Delivery (OTD) metrics.
  • Provides direction and feedback for receiving inbound products based on visual conditions and, or how, product parts are labeled for shipments to customers or repair facilities.
  • Coordinates communication between 3PL and Dublin supply chain personnel regarding SAP processes (inbound purchasing receipts; order creation and deliveries; returns; etc.)
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Create and maintain procedures (SOPs, Work Instructions, reports) for Dublin operations related to 3PL process requirements. Perform audits on procedures when needed to identify and address gaps. Make sure 3PLs are executing to First In and First Out (FIFO) or First Expired First Out (FEFO).
  • Oversee 3PLs cycle count program. physical inventory audits activities and perform inventory adjustments as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • College degree preferred or minimum seven (7) years inventory control or SAP business analytics experience
  • Experience with ERP and MRP systems; SAP desirable
  • Five (5) years’ working knowledge within manufacturing, service operations, and/or 3PL warehouse business systems in a project management capacity
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • May occasionally work in a warehouse environment. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Frequent travel to local 3PL will be required.
The hourly pay range for this position is $40.00 -$50.00.
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
