Job Description
Sunlighten's Warehouse and Logistics team is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team! As a Logistics Coordinator, you will support the logistics manager in coordinating the transport of Sunlighten's products. Your duties will include communicating with customers and carriers, tracking shipments, and providing delivery timelines. If you are interested in working in a family-oriented environment and gaining the skills to become a successful logistics and customer service professional, this position is for you! This opportunity has the potential to be fully remote, after a training period is completed.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist the sales team, sales operations team, and customer care teams by quickly answering questions regarding delivery, inventory and estimated timelines
  • Manage daily shipments activities to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are properly planned and coordinated
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends and make recommendations for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing operations
  • Analyzes and coordinate the logistical functions of the organization; assists in the life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources
  • Assist in daily order processing and ensure accurate inventory flow to properly set and meet customer expectations
  • Monitor and resolve customer cases pertaining to shipping concerns or damages by answering phone calls and responding to emails and chats
  • Work closely with suppliers and carriers to ensure Sunlighten's needs are met and resolve any issues regarding shipments/deliveries
Requirements
  • Reliable transportation to our warehouse in Lenexa, KS
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8-5- schedule/hours can be adjusted (2-3 days remote flexibility available)
Education & Experience:
  • At least 2 year of customer service or logistics experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Compensation:
$16/HR + the opportunity to participate in Sunlighten's Monthly Bonus Plan if goals/objectives are met
