A leading digital streaming network is seeking a Live Streaming Operator. The successful candidate will closely monitor live video feeds that make up our famous product and have eyes on glass for the four different live feeds and trigger ads during breaks in the story lines. The ideal candidate is comfortable making decisions on the timing of ad breaks without supervision. The company offers a great work environment!

Live Streaming Operator Pay And Benefits

• Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309, Open to remote candidates, Must be available to work Eastern or Pacific hours)
• 40 hours/week, 3-4 Month Assignment
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
• Hourly pay: $20/hr

Live Streaming Operator Responsibilities

• Use JIRA and other online tools to log bugs.
• Keep a log of times when ads rolled, along with incidents that occurred during your shift.
• Work closely with the team broadcasting to understand daily rundowns and storylines.
• Use our software to insert digital ad breaks in the streams.
• Provide quality checks on the live streams.
• Monitor up to four live streams. Look for visual indicators and other key moments when breaks can run.
• Report any stream problems to our Operations team.

Live Streaming Operator Qualifications

• Master Control experience is a plus.
• Self-starter, having the interest of our show.
• Ability to follow along with the show story line.
• Broadcast experience is a plus.
• Understanding video/live streaming to explain issues, and maintain a log of Ads.
• Need to be dependable to commit to shifts.
• Attention to detail and understanding of storylines is a must.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience triggering ads for live sports events. Comfortable joining and providing countbacks to and from commercial breaks.
• Strong knowledge of OTT video distribution/contribution technology and architecture
• NO DSL/stable internet connection. Internet speed of 100Mbps.
• 1-2+ years in Live TV or a Live Streaming role, with an emphasis on live events.
• Experience watching feeds, and knowing when to drop in an AD.

Live Streaming Operator Shift

• Nights, weekends, mornings.
• The shift schedule will be given a week in advance. Must be available nights & weekends.

Compensation: From $20.00 to $20.00 per hour
