As a Listing Content Specialist, you will be part of our broader revenue-marketing team focused on how Sonder and its locations are presented to and found by potential guests. We’re looking for a hard worker with excellent creative writing skills who embraces change. This position will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing listings on booking platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia Group, and our own website.

At Sonder You Will

• Create and maintain listings across all Sonder markets, on various direct booking channels and metasearch engines
• Employ Sonder’s voice and tone to respond to guest reviews across all channels
• Share competitive and market research to ensure Sonder listings are optimally presented to guests
• Conduct basic troubleshooting to increase efficiency within our Listings Platform
• Test various techniques to improve search rank, page views, and conversion
• Use critical thinking to optimize channel-specific photo selection and order to increase conversion
• Perform quality audits for grammar, style, and accuracy
• Act as Sonder’s brand voice through content refreshes to improve listing performance
• Partner with stakeholders across our City Operations, Revenue Management, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams
• Write unique listing descriptions to market each property online

What We Look For

• Photos, incorrect cancellation policies, or any other issues that can impact our listings
• Exceptional written communication and people skills
• Organized, hardworking, and adaptable to process changes
• Strong attention to detail — easily able to spot and correct grammatical errors, off-brand
• 4- years undergraduate degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of marketing, creative writing, or customer service preferred
• Comfortable learning how to use new software platforms
• Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets), Microsoft Office (Excel), or related skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth company
