Marketing Proofreader (Temporary) - Remote

Quad, a marketing experience company serving premier brands, seeks a qualified Temp Marketing Proofreader to work in partnership with one of our largest retail clients in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. In this role, you will be responsible for examining all copy and proofs generated in digital and print production. You will verify the accuracy of content, revisions, formatting and versioning, and ensure that all quality and production standards are met prior to submission to the client.

Responsibilities

• Review all copy across all formats for adherence to brand standards
• Check against client mark-ups to verify accuracy
• Work effectively within internal and client tools and technologies
• Proactively communicate status and issues
• Work with internal and client Project Management teams on questions and missing information
• Review and proof artwork for quality, content and accuracy
• Ability to quickly notice issues and clearly explain necessary changes to internal and client partners
• Expected hours are 9:30 AM -6:00 PM EST
• Assist in releasing of digital assets to agency

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with ability to successfully juggle and deliver multiple projects
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, English, or equivalent
• Must be detail and deadline oriented
• Self-starter with ability to self-direct
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
• Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation skills
