Job Description

Linehaul Dispatcher, $65,000 - $70,000 yearly

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts

R+L Carriers has immediate need for Linehaul Dispatcher at our Service Center to plan, direct and coordinate the movement of regional and national LTL shipments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct the use of Purchased Transportation and Intermodal
  • Coordinate LCV lanes in geographical areas.
  • Developing geographical specific plans to insure service standards are achieved in the most economical means possible.
  • Reduce partial and empty dispatches by managing freight flow and resources.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience using PC, Database and Mainframe applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and education a plus!
