Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm with a reach that extends across the Americas and globally, has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Legal Administrative Assistant in its New York office. The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the firm’s Consumer Financial Services, Data and Technology (CFS+) practice group. Job duties include providing assistance with calendaring, expense reporting, file maintenance/organization, record management, e-filing, upload/download of documents, filing and other administrative duties as assigned. A minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in a law firm setting is required; litigation multi-state experience is highly preferred. We require advanced technology skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and PDF programs), document management software and internet research skills. Experience with Litigation applications such as Legal Tracker, CompuLaw, or CounselLink would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize and willingness to learn. Candidates must also work efficiently under pressure while working in a fast pace and team environment.

Job Type: Full-Time (35 hours)
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Salary range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00
Bonus: Discretionary holiday bonus
