As Australia’s leading safety footwear brand, Steel Blue are experiencing continued growth in the USA and as such, are seeking an experiencedJunior Territory Managerto join our sales team to support our sales operations across North America.
THE ROLE
Reporting the Field Sales Manager, the role will support our growing sales team across the Great Lakes region and will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, building strong customer relationships and driving sales across the territory.
Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts. Prepare regular reports and updates for management.
- Educate, promote, train and service channel distribution partners and key end user relationships.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders of the Company.
- Continuously enhance your product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry expertise through training and development opportunities provided by Steel Blue.
- Develop a deep understanding of Steel Blue's product offerings and effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions within the Great Lakes Territory.
- Manage and develop the designated sales territory within the Great Lakes region, including identifying and prioritizing target and aspirational accounts
- Supporting distribution partners conducting on-site end user boot fittings
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for candidates excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Although previous sales experience is not required candidates who possess a natural sales ability will be highly regarded. Additionally candidates will also have:
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
- Excellent computer literacy skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Possess a strong work ethic with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
