The WebstaurantStore , a leader in supporting the food service industry for two decades is looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our growing company. This is position has room to grow and advance your career towards our Mid, Senior and Lead Engineer positions. 2+ years' experience is expected for this role.

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be:

• Running System, Integration and UI testing on multiple web-based products and platforms
• Writing manual test cases using ADO
• Documenting, tracking and escalating issues
• Acting at the Primary QA Point of Contact on some projects or teams
• Estimating the Level of Effort needed to test and complete a task
• Serving as a hybrid QA, performing both manual and automated testing
• Troubleshooting and triaging issues with multiple teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Working closely with Development, Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure project success
• Creating and updating existing QA documentation
• Working with peers both onsite and remotely.
• Writing automated test scripts using Groovy and Java common classes and xpaths

We are looking for a driven, motivated candidate who MUST have:

• Ability to work with a majority remote team
• Capable of assessing Project risk and giving fair estimate of work.
• Flexibility to multitask and shift focus as needed
• Ability to form working relationships within the project teams
• Minimum 1 year experience writing automated test scripts in Java using common classes and xpaths
• Ability to work within the project teams and present documentation to the Project / Enterprise Leadership
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Web testing experience
• 2-4 years' experience in a QA Role
• Beginner's level of SQL and database knowledge
• Be able to accommodate Eastern Time Zone work hours
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases

Bonus points if the candidate also has:

• Experience with Groovy
• Experience with Selenium Webdriver
• Willingness to train/mentor manual team members on automation scripting
• ADO experience
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
