Job Description
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population
  • Facilitate the complete solution of product sales, upgrades, installations and service
  • Perform desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Install, configure, support, and troubleshoot IT equipment including PCs, laptops, printers, PDAs, and all other peripheral equipment
  • Provide the initial contact with customers and assess/repair issues
  • Install local area network cabling systems
  • Deliver, set up, and configure end-user PC desktop hardware, software and peripherals
  • Provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution
  • Identify, diagnose, document, and resolve issues for end users, computer software and hardware, network issues and communicates solutions to end-users
  • Provide one-on-one end-user training as needed
  • Install and support desktop applications and operating systems
  • Diagnose and resolve end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware problems, e-mail, Internet, VPN, and local-area network access problems
  • Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Education/Training (both required and desired):
  • 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
  • Experience:
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline or equivalent in experience
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Experience monitoring and enforcing Cybersecurity practices and policies
  • Some experience maintaining Linux systems
  • Security:
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
