Job Description

Estimated starting salary for this position is $842-$1052 per week.

Duties and Responsibilities/Results:

  • Prepare accounting entries and ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts.
  • Assist the department management on various assignments, (including research, data collection and some analysis) in doing so emphasizing efficiency and effectiveness within the department.
  • Performs the FAS General Ledger postings and maintenance.
  • Performs the Fixed Assets function and Accounts Payable function in a back- up capacity when required to do so.
  • Assists in improving productivity of assigned tasks by developing or enhancing procedural workflows within computer applications.
  • Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports to provide management with accurate and timely information.
  • Helps out as needed by performing other related duties which may be necessary from time to time.

Job Specifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office and other software used by the Bank, including the Financial Accounting Suite (FAS).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of banking functions and understanding of branch operations.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • College Degree with concentration in accounting or business field preferred and/or 0 to 1-year experience.
  • Good analytical, research, communication and computer skills.
