Ziele der Stelle / Purpose and objectives of the job:
The Jr. Product Manager Operations will support the Birkenstock operations team in driving the product strategy
for digital’s backend systems. This role will work closely with key business users and translates their needs into
enhancements and features. The Jr. Product Manager Operations will assist the Sr. Product Manager in prioritizing
and executing the backend roadmap.

• Supports in developing well-scoped requirements and assists in the execution of the backend roadmap

• Assists in the development and management of the testing cycle and launch plan for enhancements / new

• Aligns closely with business stakeholders as part of product discovery to identify areas of opportunity

• Monitors critical interfaces and serves as point of contact for trouble shooting and overseeing resolution

• Uses data analysis to gain insights that inform product roadmap decision-making

• Works with Senior Product Manager to manage depencies, risks and blockers throughout the product

and resolving backend applications issues as well as continue to develop existing solutions to ensure
business needs are met

• Partners with ecommerce frontend team on end-to-end execution

• Aligns with other cross-functional teams on requirements and feasibility of solutions

• Point of contact for technical teams at third party vendors supporting the Birkenstock backend

payment, tax, fraud, OMS, middle ware etc.)

• Solid technical understanding and ability to understand, analyze and debug on a high level

• Experience with agile methodologies and project management expertise

• Highly organized with abilityh to translate data and user feedback into requirements

• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with business and technical teams

• Conceptual thinking and ability to prioritize across multiple initiatives

Qualifications:

• Education

• B.A./B.S.

• Professional experience

• 2-3 years experience in a product management role within ecommerce /retail

• Technology skills

• Microsoft Office Products

• Working knowledge in ecom platforms (SFCC) and shop platforms / POS

• Experience with API protocols as well as REST/SOAP/JSON/XML preferred

• Experience working with issue and project tracking software such as JIRA/Confluence

Personal Skills

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills – ability to elicit cooperation and collaboration

from internal and external partners alike

• Competency as a liason between systems vendors and non-technical business stakeholders

• Strategic, innovative approach—strong analytic mindset

• Comfortable in and adaptable to rapidly changing conditions with an ability to constantly iterate in a fast-

paced environment

• High level of responsibility and accountability

Working conditions:
