Job Description
Reporting to the Help Desk Manager, the incumbent shall provide Inline Plastics Corp. employees with IT technical/helpdesk support within a multi-site manufacturing environment.


Essential Job Responsibilities

Operations


  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
  • Contribute and maintain clear and concise Web-based Self-Help/FAQ documentation that empowers end-users to self-resolve common issues
  • Assist with managing the inventory of all IT assets
  • Provide support, break-fix/hardware repair, and troubleshooting of IT deployed equipment, smartphones, networks, printers, phone systems, and software installations
  • Use and maintain organization’s IT Services Management (ITSM) software solution to identify, document, track, and resolve reported problems to ensure maximum issue resolutions in minimum time
  • Other duties/functions may be added or assigned


Safety


  • Follows FDA GMPs regarding food contact packaging as it pertains to the employee
  • Practices safe work habits and follows general safety procedures such as proper lifting and bending, ergonomics, proper use of equipment, and use of personal protection equipment (PPE)
  • Product Safety and Quality
  • Follows Product Safety and Quality standards
  • Practices good housekeeping including a clutter-free work area and general cleaning; follows FDA product safety standards, follows IPC product defense standards and complies with all SQF requirements
  • Ensures lockout procedures are followed any time the equipment is being cleaned or maintained


Minimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses, and/or certifications required.)

  • Associate Degree, Technical School, and or computer certifications with 2-3 years of related experience in the troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows desktops, virtual desktops, servers, networks, printers, smartphones, network connectivity, and other computer-related technologies
  • Effective organization and planning skills and ability to prioritize work on multiple projects with high attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN environments, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers and other network devices
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, as well as CAD/CAM applications, is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills including the ability to ask relevant questions, effectively listen, provide information, and collaborate with others in a positive way
  • Essential Physical Demands and Frequency
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications including Office 365
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability and willingness to provide support during off hours when necessary
