The Information Security Analyst, as part of the Information Security team, analyzes information systems and processes for compliance with defined policies, standards, and applicable regulations, conducts system access reviews, electronic discoveries, and processes security related requests.

The Role:
- Conduct security awareness training and phishing simulation exercises to raise awareness and train client employees on security best practices
- Conduct internal and external vulnerability assessments for clients
- Create awareness of security concepts, requirements, and resources
- Conduct internal security reviews and assessments for clients
- Work with other teams to:
- Assess and audit
- Assist with assessments and audits conducted by outside entities
• Evaluate processes and procedures for secure operations
- Help identify, define, and mitigate information security risks
- Perform additional duties when requested
- Participate in projects as a representative of the Information Security team
- Conduct and assist with security assessments
- Facilitate compliance with government and industry regulations
- Create reports to document security risks and recommend security solutions
- Assist with the creation and review of security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Respond to and manage alerts in a client facing EDR platform
- Provide support on incident response and managing security incidents
Experience:
- At least two years of combined experience managing security solutions, auditing information
- Experience preforming internal and external vulnerability assessments
- Experience managing an endpoint detection and response platform
- Experience performing internal and external information security risk assessments
- Associates degree in Information Security, Information Assurance, Computer Science,
be substituted for two years of college credits)
- Experience ensuring compliance with HIPAA, CIS and other Information security compliance
- Security+, GSEC, CySA+, CISSP or other security-related certification is a plus
- Experience working within the healthcare and/or senior living industry is a plus
- ITIL training and certification is a plus
Knowledge and Experience:
- Comfortable working with Windows operating systems
- Familiar with HIPAA, NIST SP 800 series, and ITIL
- Familiar with directory services such as Active Directory, LDAP etc.
- Familiar with virtualization technologies
- Familiar with electronic certificates and PKI
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable facilitating conversations with system owners, managers, and executives
- Comfortable multitasking
- Comfortable with drafting technical documentation
- Familiar with encryption and hashing standards
- Familiar with SSO protocols such as SAML, OIDC and OAuth
- Self-motivated
- Require little supervision
