Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and manage capacity/resources as it relates to Global Enterprise Data Protection platforms. Monitor the health and analyze performance of Global Enterprise Data Protection platforms. Assist with the creation and maintenance of documented procedures regarding IT standards within the organization.
Under minimal direction, performs detailed analysis, design, implementation and maintenance activities in various areas of IT. Consistently applies the concepts of appropriate standard methodologies and best practices. Partners with customer community to devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems or improve existing processes. Interfaces with suppliers and vendors as needed to evaluate software, hardware or services and makes recommendations. Applies principles, concepts and practices of the IT Competency Model at the Analyst Level. Proactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are properly protected.

Education/Experience Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
Must have at least 5 years of experience in the job offered or related field.
Must have 3 years of experience applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
Must have 3 years of experience deploying and maintaining Data Protection Solutions. Must have 3 years of experience communicating effectively across team/geographical/functional boundaries.
Must have 3 years of experience with DELL|EMC Avamar & DataDomain.
Must have 2 years of experience with Cohesity.
Must have 1 year of experience with network technologies, including VLANs, NATs, Virtual Switches, DNS, DHCP.
Must have 1 year of experience with VMware virtualization technologies (e.g. ESXi & vCenter) including design, configuration, and implementation in large enterprise environments.

Travel Requirements

Role requires 10% or less domestic travel.
