Zayo is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to provide leadership and strategic oversight for the team managing complex technology programs. As the Director of IT PMO at Zayo, you will be responsible for driving program success, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and delivering impactful outcomes. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and program management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and manage program risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and driving continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and integrate vendor tasks, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
  • Drive program governance, ensuring adherence to program standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Manage program budgets, forecasting expenditures, and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in program management.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, driving collaboration and ensuring clear communication throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Lead and manage strategic technology programs, overseeing multiple projects and work streams to achieve program objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including defining program scope, deliverables, resource allocation, and timelines.
  • Monitor program progress, track key milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to align programs with organizational strategies and priorities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance program management methodologies and tools.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program or project management, successfully leading and delivering complex technology programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale programs with multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering strategic outcomes.
  • PMP certification or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience in vendor management, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with the telecommunications or network infrastructure industry is a plus.
Base pay range: $120,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience
