WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This Associate position at Bain is a technical support role that is responsible for providing assistance to employees with IT-related issues and problems. The Associate will serve as the primary point of contact for these issues and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems on computer systems. They will also be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory database and repair log, enforcing Technology Solutions Group (TSG) guidelines and policies, managing user accounts and permissions, coordinating off-site repairs with external vendors, and supporting the development of end user training programs. This position requires strong problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as a solid understanding of computer systems and software.



WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• You will serve as the primary contact for IT related problems and issues for Bain employees
 

• You will install, configure, and upgrade software and operating systems
 

• You will investigate, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems on computer systems
 

• You will maintain accurate inventory database, repair log and activity log
 

• You will enforce TSG guidelines and policies

 

• You will manage user accounts and set permissions



• You will coordinate off-site repairs with external vendors
 

• You will work with other TSG staff to test new applications and upgrades
 

• You will support development of end user training programs 


ABOUT YOU

Associate's/Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required and previous corporate experience is preferred (0-2+ years). Experience in a customer service or technical support role and the ability to occasionally work extended hours, including evenings and weekend hours to meet project deadlines or resolve issues is required.

 

U.S. Compensation Information 

 

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below). 

 

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:

 

 

  • In New York City, the good-faith, reasonable full-time salary range for this role is between $27.88 and $33.65 an hour; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level  

 

 

  • For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary  range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level  

 

  • Annual discretionary performance bonus   

 

  1. This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation 

 

  • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
