What You Will Be Doing


Identifies and pursues new sales prospects within existing or untapped markets. Gathers market intelligence, generates leads, and develops proposals/campaigns to garner new business, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenues to the company. Uses knowledge of markets, industries, and clients to determine demand, future trends and potential projects. Works pre-developed lead lists to generate business and identify new customer prospects.


Responsible for client relationships, including attracting and retaining new clients and strengthening current relationships. Activities include maximizing cross-sales opportunities through customer profiling with the ultimate goal of cultivating interest in other business banking products. Provides support to help clients coordinate solutions, manage accounts, obtain advice and administer services. Ensures customer questions and issues are answered correctly and efficiently by documenting and identifying trends in customer service needs. Resolves and oversees customer issues surrounding consulting, information, and software services, solutions and products. Makes presentations to potential clients and contributes to the achievement of sales targets.


Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements


  • Deliver specified budget and financial metrics
  • Manages due diligence, credit, coverage, reference data and other requirements resulting from corporate actions.
  • Acts as a liaison with the client, client coverage team, credit and other business partners, including subsidiary bankers and product sales across regions to help deliver the firm to the client.
  • Monitors credit exposure across the family relationship and partner with Credit Risk on credit related asks.
  • Supports ad hoc requests from clients, interacting across internal stakeholders.
  • Participates in client planning activities and client calls.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client group, developing and driving opportunities to sell the banks products and services
  • Assists with ensuring assigned client portfolio is kept current with all aspects of the firm’s KYC/AML requirements.

Education


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field. (Req)
  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field. (Pref)


Work Experience


  • 12-15+ years (Req)


Skills And Abilities


  • Deep knowledge of credit
  • Proven ability to build and develop relationships. Strong internal network will be critical to success
  • Able to utilize full range of prospecting sales activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated to work independently and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business
  • Self starter and able to self generate sales prospects and pipeline
  • Strong and diverse product knowledge
  • Significant Corporate Banking or related product experience
  • Strong Corporate Banking background with experience navigating complex global organizations
  • Strong sales skills in a fast paced environment

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $198,000-$250,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
