The New York Post is looking for talented Social Media Intern for the summer!
The New York Post has been telling stories for over 220 years. Every day, we work relentlessly to uncover and tell the stories you can’t resist. Founded as a newspaper, the New York Post has evolved into a national digital brand. Our flagship sites, nypost.com and pagesix.com. Decider.com and all of our digital products and social channels are infused with the flavor and style of the original newspaper, but also purpose-built for the digital age.
Primary responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creation of engaging, original content such as Memes, Reels and polls for social media platforms.
- Work with the social media team covering NYPost.com and PageSix.com to package content for platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Flipboard.
- Pitch trending stories to various editorial teams.
Qualifications:
- Be on top of what is trending on social media.
- The ability to work independently.
- Must have great news judgment.
- A passion for anything news related!
Note: NY Post has returned to the office in a hybrid work schedule.
